A few months into The Scott Redding Academy

Well Blake is now a few months into attending the Scott Redding Young Riders Academy which is held at M4 Karting each Sunday Night 5.30pm to 8.00pm, The difference is amazing and it just goes to show what the academy has done for him and what it can do for the Motorbike Sport.

Prescott 2012

Well 22nd April saw the second Prescott Bike Festival and despite the run up to the event with the weather being dreadful the Sunday started as a nice clear day with promising blue Sky's, gates opened and bikers started to flood in.  The different array of bikes this year was amazing with the theme being set as through the ages and plenty of people had booked to run the hill as well so spectating all the different bikes was great.

Both directors James and John had booked in to run the hill and some pictures are below.

Sunday 30th September 6. Sunday 14th October 7. Sunday 28th October The fastest bike on the day will get a trophy and a £100.00 voucher for Powder Coating. Blake attends Scott Reddings, Young Riders Academy

One of our company Directors James took his 8 year old son, Blake to the Scott Reddings Young Riders Academy which is held at M4 Karting, Hullavington every Sunday evening between 6pm and 8pm.

GBS Birthday Celebrations.

Sunday 15th January saw one of the company's Directors James Ansell and young workshop apprentice William, enjoy getting one year older and so they say wiser.

James Ansell turned the big 3 - 0 while young Will turned just a young 17, there birthday was enjoyed with a few hours mini moto'ing with other work colleagues and friends, which was a night full of thrills and spills with some of the group never been on a mini moto made for some interesting racing to be said the least,

A new trend for 2012 will be more mini moto racing.

Bikesafe 2012 @ Castle Combe

2nd June 2012 will see the return of Bikesafe at Castle Combe again, this will be the third year in a row for the bikesafe team and what has been a good day out looks set again to be even better.

Can not confirm on prices as there website has not gone live yet but from past it has been £25 which will get you one hour on road assessed ride with a Police Advanced Motorcyclist followed by a fifteen minute track experience around the circuit.

Over 260 bikes took part in the event and each year more and more trade displays attend which make it a good day out. will update when the website goes live soo people can book places if they require.

Prescott Motorcycle Festival Returns for 2012

Prescott Motorcycle Festival is returning on the 22nd April This Year and it's set to be even bigger and better then 2011.

last year was an amazing day with over 5000 people attending, this year is set to be even bigger and better, and before any one asks wo went last year food and refreshments will be more plentiful then last.

Some good names already agreed to go, Scott Redding being one of them, also awaiting for some others to reply back to see if they can come as well, all proceeds go to a great charity.

Bikesafe Castle Coombe 2011

Another great day at this years Bikesafe held at Castle Coombe race circuit which give your every day motorcycle riders the chance to experience a one hour on road assessed ride with a Police Advanced Motorcyclist then 15 minutes track time.

The date for this year is Saturday June 4th 2011.

Castle Combe
For this event we have hired the Castle Combe Circuit again and all its facilities to provide participating riders the opportunity to ride around the circuit supervised by Castle Combe's own riders for a 15 minute session after receiving a full safety briefing, but not before completing a one hour on road ride out with a Police Advanced Motorcyclist on a two to one basis.

Riders taking part in the track experience are required to wear one piece leathers, two piece zip together leathers or suitable equivalent.

There will be something for everyone, even if you're not participating in the Police assessed ride and track experience, attractions include:

   the Steve Colley Motorcycle Stunt Show
   the opportunity to come along and meet the staff from the "Fast Bikes"
   magazine
   local motorcycle main dealers and others attending with a wide range of
   motorcycles on display, clothing and accessories for sale.

Parking and entry to show is totally free, spectators welcome.

The event focus remains the same as before, Road and Rider safety. The message is that further rider training, post test, can dramatically reduce the risk of involvement in serious or fatal incidents.

The Police ride out and track experience is open to any rider who holds a full motorcycle licence.

Due to strict legislation which Castle Combe Circuit must comply with, a noise limit of 105db applies to all bikes on the circuit
